Ancient Amber, Staff of Nawia

I finished this back in 2021, a bit of a photobash. This is a gift Kazimiera Sadowska, my character for a pbp Dark Ages game, gives to the Tzimisce Methuselah Yorak. It's a staff made by her sire when he found an ancient amber piece with a mosquito in the Vistula. There is Slavic Underworld and Life and Death symbology here because of that. The markings on the staff call for the dead and the żmij and also the gods. The mosquito itself is a blood drinker so fitting for a vampire. Yes, anyone that watched the original Jurassic Park recognizes that detail of the staff as belonging to the cane of a certain doctor...I call that another layer of reference.
